I am a home decor junkie...
I was visiting at my sisters house and she took me over to a neighbors house who definitely has a great eye for decor and she does it all by herself. I love her style!
In her living room she has created a custom wood wall treatment with sheeting and inexpensive one by fours. She also rag rolled the walls. It takes a good eye and steady hand to get the pattern and paint to completely blend around the room.
You can't see her counter top very well but she took and ordinary counter top and put a concrete finish on it..With a special paint treatment. I love her colors!
She also added a custom ceiling trim around the room. In her family room she used this awesome green and rag rolled with a brown. It looks so warm and cozy to me.
