Our neighborhood has been going through a division of opinions. We all have to depend on Propane for our main heat source because the area we live in was developed with out natural gas. A suggestion was made that we request the natural gas lines to be brought in and thus eliminating the dependency on propane. Propane is good for some reasons, but has some drawbacks. At any rate the neighborhood was divided in almost half. The final decision was made by the city council and natural gas will be piped into the area. This impacts every house with a yearly cost for the installation.
I was very impressed with my neighbor's house. They chose a creative way to let their frustration be known in a way that was not harmful or offensive (to me) in anyway.
Sometimes it is so hard to come to an agreement on some subjects.
(One of the funniest thing they did was hang a laundry line up with colorful underwear (and things) because it's against our "neighbor rules" to have a laundry line.
