We went to watch Hartley in the last parade for the year. We were ready for the usual candy and occasional otter pop. (brilliant idea for a hot day) But this parade had a new and excitingly wonderful twist. A local nursery was giving away all the end of the season Annuals. Four trucks with trailers loaded with beautiful healthy flowers. It was so awesome. They were handing out single flowers, hanging baskets and pony packs by the flats. It was my favorite parade give away ever!
