And They Are Off to the Ukriane

Last night at midnight the kids left with their grandpa to visit his home country the Ukraine. They have had their shots for travel, shopped and packed and lugged their huge over stuffed luggage to the airport where they were promptly told the bags were over weight. They furiously moved heavy items into a box provided by the airline to lighten the weight of the luggage until they were the appropriate weight. Hurried through security and boarded the flight to JFKairprt
They arrived at 5am our time and now they will wait there until this evening. This is a picture Hartley sent of the already exhausted travelers. They now have a 11 hour flight to then change planes and a half a day train ride. I am hopeful they will have a great experience seeing all the sights and spending time with the family there.
